The Kansas-Nebraska Radio Club is proud to take part in the ARRL sponsored Field Day 2016, on June 25th starting at 10am!

We will be using our Emergency Communications trailer and Amateur Radio equipment to make contacts with other Ham Radio operators around the United Stated and the World. This activity is part of testing our equipment in case of a disaster. They goal is to make as many contacts as possible in the 24 hours time frame via Phone(voice), CW(Morse Code), PSK and RTTY(digital modes). We will be operating on “Emergency Power”.

According to the ARRL, 2720 stations participated with almost 1.3 million logged contacts last year.

Mark your calendars and bring you family and friends to experience Ham Radio.
